An 11th edition of Things Discussed at the Brewhaus

In recognition of my 11th blog posting devoted to the various conversation topics that have consumed many happy hours (to say nothing of the drinks consumed as well), here’s a list of 11 recent conversations:

  • History of the Harvey Wallbanger
  • Snorting your parent’s ashes – the ultimate tribute
  • What consistency does the butter need to be to make butter cow sculptures for the Illinois State Fair?
  • All-inclusive food and drink tickets at the baseball game – why it pays to root for a rain delay
  • Why you should philosophically be more like water and less like a rock … because water will eventually erode a rock
  • Does the drink Tang make a woman’s breasts grow?
  • The average life expectancy of a NASCAR fan
  • The realization that, while time itself is infinite, our time is very finite
  • Paul Lynde or Charles Nelson Reilly, who was gayer (a sequel to two previous things discussed at the Brewhaus … I love it when everything ties in together)
  • Who would win a fight between Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett?
  • The definition of insurable interest on a life insurance policy

I think you’ll agree there have certainly been some deep thoughts arising from enjoying a beverage or two recently (the point, counterpoint on the Daniel Boone vs. Davy Crockett conversation lasted for days, for instance).

No doubt, it won’t be long before I have a dozen more things discussed for the 12 edition.  Until next time, bottoms up!
