As fate would have it …


If you’re one of my three loyal followers, you’ll know I’m long overdue on several blog entries I promised.  To be honest, I haven’t had much desire to blog lately for personal reasons, as if you’ve followed my blog, the title kind of gives it away. 


Suffice it to say that a mysterious and exotic Gypsy is hitching her wagon of life and moving on to better things.  It is what it is.  I wish her well.  One thing I have learned is Gypsies are nothing like genies – they don’t like to be bottled up.   

I do intend to revisit my blog ideas I have from Galena, LaSalle and other points north in Illinois, with a new spin on them, as well as a few others soon.  I’m a writer.  I can’t help but write.  It’s what I do.  And I thank everyone for supporting my little blogging venture, including Gypsies.

I wasn’t sure a place existed that could be the perfect representation of Wisconsin life, but then I traveled through Monroe, Wis., one week...
